Review by Auto Karan

Cast: Arvind Swamy, Madhu Bala, Nasar, Janaka Raj
Director: Mani Ratnam
Music Score: A. R. Rahman
An epic movie from the house of Maniratnam, ROJA announced A.R.Rahman's arrival to the world of background music with a bang. A.R.Rahman turned to a celebrity overnight with the movie.
Who can forget Pankaj's role as a terrorist, Nasser as the strict military man and Janakraj as the astrologer.... characters that will stand out in the minds of anyone who have watched the movie.
Everytime we use to see always in all movies hero introduction wit opening song but here small diff heroine introduction with cute song (chinna chinna asai). You never seen in any movie often… Most romantic scene, he take her by closing her eyes and showing a snowy place and a beautiful song ‘Pudhuvellai malai’… Wow no words to tell. I just feel I shd do d same thing wen I marry… Hw many ve noticed tis scene in tis movie i dono, oru wood la ‘kadhal rojava enga ni enga’ nu lyrics eluthi irukum tamil wording la wit background la ARR music vera. OMG!! U feel tat real LOVE…
The my fav and most beautiful touchin scene in the movie is, terrorist vanthu namba national flag eh erikum pothu atha anaikavum athuku background music um (thana nana na)… Lyrics says “Community may vary but virtue is same“, “Place may vary but land is same”, “Language may vary but voice is same”, ”Direction may vary but Land is same”, “Music may Vary but Sound is Same”, Tat is Our INDIA is ONE and ONLY… wowwwwwwww u feel tat nation sprit from ARR…
Best line of d movie is

“Intha vanmuraiyum thuppakiyum vittutu, oru thiviravathi eh illama MANUSANA irungala” …
Finally,

the movie says “Be a HUMAN Than A TERRORIST” if you take it in its raw form did not have an exceptional story. Under anyone else's direction the movie would have flopped. But it was Maniratnam's way of presenting the story that made it fresh and the way in which the characters move in every scene talks about Maniratnam's talent as a great director.
Overall the movie was truly exceptional....
